How do I book a trip with Halia Experiences?

Yes! We offer flexible payment plans, including automatic billing options. The details will be outlined at the time of booking.

No. Deposits are non-refundable and required at the time of booking.

A late fee of $250 will be added to your invoice if the final balance is not paid by the due date.

 All payments made to Halia Experiences are non-refundable and non-transferable due to agreements with our travel partners.

Travel Requirements & Documentation

Do I need a passport to book a trip?

Yes, all international travelers must have a valid passport. Your passport must be valid for at least six months beyond your travel dates.

Name changes may incur additional fees and are subject to airline and hotel policies. Always book using the exact name on your passport.

While not required, we strongly recommend purchasing travel insurance to protect against unexpected cancellations, medical emergencies, or lost luggage.

No. All travel documents and itineraries are sent electronically 30 days before departure once full payment has been received.

Visa requirements vary by destination. It is the traveler’s responsibility to obtain any necessary visas before departure.

Accommodations & Roommates

Do I have to share a room?

Prices are based on double occupancy. If you prefer a private room, single occupancy options may be available at an additional cost.

Yes! We offer roommate matching for select trips. Pairings are arranged approximately 45 days before departure.

Cancellation & Changes

How do I cancel my trip?

All cancellations must be requested in writing by emailing info@haliaexperiences.com. You will receive a cancellation request form to complete.

If you cancel and wish to reinstate your reservation within 14 days, a $250 reinstatement fee applies.

General Questions

Can children join Halia Experiences trips?

Children under 16 are not allowed on most tours. Travelers under 18 must be accompanied by an adult.

Trip prices typically include accommodations, some meals, planned excursions, and group experiences. Flights, personal expenses, and travel insurance are not included unless stated.

If an event outside our control (such as a natural disaster, political unrest, etc.) impacts your trip, we will work with vendors to find the best possible solution. However, travel insurance is highly recommended to ensure peace of mind during your travels.
